Sehr großflächige Lichtwerbeanlagen werden oft mit dem sogenannten Spanntuch hergestellt, bestehend aus einem weiß durchscheinenden, sehr reißfestem Gewebe. Die Oberfläche dieses Spanntuchs kann mit Schriftzügen oder Logos bedruckt bzw. beklebt werden. Spanntuch-Anlagen können entweder von Außen angestrahlt oder von innen durchleuchtet werden.
